Fruit That’s Seen Better Days

If you happen to have the biggest machine ever “a dehydrator”… is so worth it! This might seem overwhelming, but I have found the least disruptive way for our family to enjoy this treat. Around dinner time when the kitchen is already dirty, I start slicing fruit that is too soft, has lots of bruises, the kids refuse to eat, etc. I place them in the dehydrator, tray by tray, and turn it on the fruit setting. By morning it’s done! If you slice your fruit a little more thin, this will safe guard it from being too dry. Some fruit may be done sooner than others, perhaps before you go to bed, so keep an eye on it. Enjoy!
